A welcoming church home in Hampton's heart

On a Sunday morning in Hampton, families arrive at Calvary Assembly of God ready to worship together. The church sits at the heart of the community, a gathering place where newcomers and longtime members alike find a warm welcome. Whether someone steps through the doors for the first time or returns week after week, they encounter a community that truly believes in the power of showing up together—in person and online for those who need flexibility in their faith journey.

Beyond the Sunday service, Calvary's life unfolds through connection. Community groups meet throughout the week, creating spaces where people move from being strangers in a pew to genuine members of a spiritual family. Children find their own sense of belonging through Calvary Kids, while students gather for FLOOD Student Ministries, learning that their faith matters right now, in their own lives. Midweek services on Wednesday evenings offer another opportunity for the church family to gather, pray, and grow.

What makes Calvary special is how it weaves mission into the fabric of everyday church life. The community groups, leader training, and youth programs aren't just activities—they're expressions of a faith that says: you belong here, and you're part of something bigger than yourself. For families seeking a church home where faith is lived out loud and community is genuine, Calvary Assembly of God remains a beacon of welcome in Hampton, inviting all who enter to discover what it means to be part of a real, loving family.
