What we guarantee

• No expiration dates. Credits do not lapse after 30 days, 12 months, a year, or any other period. Buy them today and spend them years from now.
• No inactivity or maintenance fees. We will never charge you, or quietly remove credits, simply because your account sat idle between screening seasons.
• They roll over, always. Unused credits carry forward indefinitely and stack with any new credits you buy.
• One credit, one check. Each credit covers one full national criminal background check (a $5 value) whenever you choose to use it.
• Bulk packs included. This guarantee applies to every credit in your balance — single credits and discounted bundles alike.

Why we offer this

Volunteer screening is seasonal. A church might screen a flood of summer-camp volunteers and then go quiet until the fall, and a small nonprofit shouldn't have to forfeit credits it already paid for just because its intake comes in waves. Buying in advance to lock in a lower per-check price should save you money — not put your money on a timer. So we took the timer away.

The fine print (there's very little)

Credits remain available for as long as your VolunteerBadge account is open and in good standing. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between organizations except as we may expressly permit, and are redeemable only for VolunteerBadge services. If you ever close your account, any questions about your remaining balance are handled under our Terms of Service. Nothing here limits any refund rights you have under those Terms or applicable law. If we ever needed to change this guarantee, the change would apply only to credits purchased after the change — credits you already bought stay protected under the terms in effect when you bought them.
