Why it matters

The case for Compliance Roster

01

Color-coded status for every volunteer at a glance

Green: all screening and credentials are current. Yellow: something expires within your warning window (default 30 days). Red: something has expired or a check was flagged. No ambiguity.

02

Status updates automatically — no admin action needed

A volunteer whose background check passes the re-screening window moves from green to yellow automatically. You don't have to remember to check — the roster tells you.

03

Filter by status, program, or expiration date

Building a team for Saturday? Filter by program and status to see exactly who is cleared for that role. Sort by expiration date to see who needs attention first.

04

Covers background checks, credentials, and waivers

The roster tracks more than just background checks. Certifications (CPR, food handler, SafeSport), signed waivers, and parental consent forms are all monitored and reflected in each volunteer's status.

05

Roster-level summary for director visibility

At the top of the roster: X cleared, Y expiring in 30 days, Z flagged. Directors get the operational picture in one number, without reviewing every row.

FAQ

Common questions about Compliance Roster.

Can I configure different re-screening intervals for different roles?

A single org-wide interval is the v1 default. Per-role intervals are on the roadmap as a fast follow.

What happens when a background check expires?

The volunteer's status automatically shifts from green to yellow (at your warning window) then red (at expiration). You receive an email alert. A one-click re-screen reuses their existing profile — no re-entry required.

Who can see the compliance roster?

All admin users. Coordinator-level users can view and filter the roster but cannot change billing or org settings.

Compliance Roster is part of VolunteerBadge Pro.

$50/month flat. Unlimited admin users. Includes all six Pro features plus the core screening platform — background checks still billed at $5 per check.
