No single government database contains every U.S. criminal record, and county submission to state and federal repositories is substantially voluntary. That is true of every multi-source search, ours included. Breadth reduces the chance that a record sits in a jurisdiction nobody looked at; it does not reduce it to zero. We publish this list so you can judge the breadth yourself rather than take our word for it.

sex-offender registries refresh weekly. Added on a Tuesday, a monthly cycle can leave someone invisible for weeks — and for anyone placing adults with children, those weeks are the entire risk.

If you are here to check whether this holds up

Two kinds of people read this page: buyers deciding whether $5 can be real, and competitors checking our claims. Both deserve the same answers, so here they are.

“Anyone can list source names.”

True. So run the test that settles it: take five people you have already screened elsewhere — same names, same dates of birth — and run them through us. Compare what comes back and compare the invoice. That costs $25 and proves more than any page can.

“Cheap must mean thin.”

The price reflects who we are in the chain, not what we search. ScreenForge Labs is the consumer reporting agency, not a reseller marking up someone else’s product, and we do not carry enterprise sales and support costs. Same search, fewer layers between you and it.

“What are you not telling me?”

That no multi-source search is complete. No single government database holds every U.S. criminal record, and county submission to state and federal repositories is largely voluntary — the PBSA says so plainly, and it is true of every vendor including us. A direct county courthouse search in every jurisdiction someone has lived in is more thorough, and costs accordingly. We publish this list so you can judge the breadth instead of taking our word for it.

“Who reviews a hit?”

A trained person, before anything reaches you. A clear search returns in minutes; a possible record goes to review, typically within three business days, to exclude what belongs to someone else or is not reportable. No algorithm decides on its own whether a record is your applicant.
