Opening homes, healing hearts across Arkansas
The CALL mobilizes churches throughout Arkansas to welcome children in foster care into loving homes, offering them the family and stability they need to heal and thrive.

In Arkansas, children in foster care face an uncertain future—many waiting months or years for a permanent family. The CALL saw this crisis and understood that the solution begins in local churches and homes willing to open their doors. By connecting families with the children who need them most, The CALL transforms what could be a season of fear into one of healing and hope.
The organization partners with Arkansas's Division of Children and Family Services to recruit, train, and support foster and adoptive families. Through education and encouragement rooted in faith, The CALL helps ordinary Christians understand that caring for a child in foster care is more than an act of service—it's an invitation to become part of a child's story during their most vulnerable season. Families learn what children need as they recover from the effects of abuse or neglect, and they discover the profound difference a committed household can make.
Across Pulaski County and throughout Arkansas, The CALL's vision is simple but powerful: no waiting children. When a family opens their home, a child finds what they need most—someone who sees them, knows them, and commits to walking alongside them. It's in those quiet moments of belonging, in a family's embrace, that broken pieces begin to mend and a child's sense of safety returns. That's the work of The CALL, one home and one heart at a time.
