Pedaling toward healthier, stronger community
KCV Cycling brings the joy and freedom of biking to Winona Lake residents of all ages and abilities, building confidence and connection one ride at a time.

On a crisp morning along the tree-lined paths near Winona Lake, a group gathers around their bicycles—some weathered hand-me-downs, some brand new. They range from a teenager learning to shift gears for the first time to a longtime resident rediscovering a childhood passion. For many, this weekly gathering represents far more than exercise. It is a chance to belong, to push past self-doubt, and to experience the simple freedom that comes with two wheels and open air.
KCV Cycling exists because the team believes every person in Winona Lake deserves access to biking—not as a luxury, but as a pathway to better health, independence, and community. Whether someone has never ridden before or is eager to explore new trails, the organization meets them where they are, offering guidance, encouragement, and a welcoming circle of fellow cyclists.
As riders develop their skills and confidence, they discover something unexpected: the solitude of a solo ride, the camaraderie of a group outing, and the pride of accomplishing something they once thought impossible. Across Winona Lake, more people are discovering that cycling can transform not just bodies, but spirits and connections.
When neighbors climb onto their bikes together, they build the kind of community that thrives—one pedal stroke at a time.
