Young minds take flight with hands-on learning

In Jersey City, a new generation of learners is discovering what's possible when imagination meets engineering. Flight & Aerospace Academy opens doors to the skies and beyond, offering hands-on classes where young people can explore the mechanics of drones and robotics. For students who've never touched a drone controller or built a robot before, these classes represent a first step into fields that feel far away—until suddenly, they're in reach.

The classroom becomes a workshop where ideas transform into motion. Students learn not just how these machines work, but why they matter. They build, test, troubleshoot, and refine—the same processes that engineers use in the real world. Each lesson plants seeds of confidence and capability, showing young learners that technology isn't something that happens to them; it's something they can shape and create.

For a young person in Jersey City wondering what careers might suit them, or simply hungry to understand how the world around them works, Flight & Aerospace Academy offers a pathway forward. Through drones and robotics, curiosity becomes competence, and the future feels a little less distant.
