For many young people, summer camp means swimming, campfires, and friendship—but Dharma Camp in Guilford offers something deeper. Nestled in the natural beauty of Connecticut, the camp creates a space where teens and young adults can step away from their everyday lives and explore Buddhist philosophy and meditation practice alongside peers who share their curiosity.

Each day at camp blends structured learning with quiet reflection. Campers gather for meditation sessions that help them develop focus and inner calm, then engage in discussions about Buddhist concepts that speak to their own lives—managing stress, understanding compassion, and finding purpose. The camp's teachers create an environment where questions are welcomed and no one feels pressured to adopt any particular belief, allowing each person to discover what resonates with them.

Beyond the meditation halls and study circles, campers form real connections with one another. Shared meals, group activities, and evening programs build a sense of belonging—a rare gift for young people often isolated by screens and competing demands. Many leave camp with new friends, a clearer sense of direction, and practical tools for mindfulness they can carry into their daily lives.

For Dharma Camp, the mission is simple: nurture a new generation's curiosity about Buddhism, help young people develop inner resilience, and show them that a thoughtful, examined life is within reach.
