Behind Every Competitive Routine, a Community Lifting Gymnasts Up
The AcroJets Booster Club helps competitive gymnasts from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center in Amherst, NY, by handling the behind-the-scenes logistics that let athletes focus on their routines. Every dollar raised goes back to coaching and supporting the athletes and their families.

Picture a gymnast in Amherst walking into a meet with nothing to worry about but her next routine. Somewhere behind her, a team of volunteers has already handled the registrations, the travel plans for her coaches, the uniforms, and the parent updates that keep everyone on the same page. That quiet support is what the AcroJets Booster Club provides for competitive gymnasts from Stumpf's Gymnastics Center.
The club works closely with the coaching staff at the gym while operating as its own independent group. When teams compete, they do so under the AcroJets banner, and the booster club takes care of the details that can otherwise pile up quickly for busy families, from meet fees to coordinating apparel orders.
For families, the costs of competition can add up fast as athletes grow. The club organizes fundraising to help ease that load, and it is also launching a digital directory where families can buy and sell gently used competition gear, so good equipment can find a second home with another gymnast.
Every dollar raised, through team fees and fundraising alike, goes back toward coaching expenses and the athletes themselves. It is all made possible by a volunteer executive board committed to making sure every gymnast and family has a positive, successful season.
