Old Loan & Undocumented Custody Register

Objects somebody lent you decades ago and never collected, and objects that are simply here with no paperwork at all. More than half of US states have a museum property statute offering a route to title, and those statutes are not the same as each other — different holding periods, different notice contents, different waiting times, and some states have none. So this workbook ships no periods: every number comes from your own state’s statute, on advice, and if you leave them at zero it computes nothing rather than implying you own something. What it is genuinely good at is the drudgery institutions actually fail at — which objects, what was tried, when, and what is still outstanding.

  • Nothing computed until your state’s numbers are entered
  • A contact-attempt trail with a place to say where the evidence lives
  • A status that says take advice, never TITLE TAKEN

Leave blank if you have not looked it up. Do not borrow another state’s figure.

Leave blank if unknown.

Ships no holding period and no notice requirement. More than half of US states have a museum property statute and they differ substantially; some states have none. Enter your own state’s numbers on advice from an attorney — leave them blank and the workbook computes nothing, which is the correct behaviour.
