Where young hearts find faith and friendship
Waters Edge Encampment creates transformative summer camp experiences for youth across east Texas, offering a space where young people grow spiritually and discover the power of community.

Nestled on 200 acres of Texas countryside, Waters Edge Encampment opens its doors each summer to youth seeking something beyond the everyday. The camp sits on the edge of a 24-acre lake, surrounded by pine trees and possibility. Here, campers find more than activities—they find a place where their faith deepens and their sense of belonging takes root.
From the moment a young person arrives, they are welcomed into a community built on intention. Whether paddling a canoe across the lake, learning archery, or gathering under the stars for worship, every moment is designed to help them encounter something real. The camp's facilities—from the lakeside cabins to the dining hall—create spaces where friendships form naturally and spiritual conversations happen over shared meals and evening campfires.
The heart of Waters Edge beats through its people. Volunteers pour themselves into creating these experiences, guided by a vision to plant a quality camp in the heart of east Texas. They understand that the weeks young people spend together at camp often become turning points—moments when they feel truly seen, when their faith becomes their own, and when they realize they are part of something larger than themselves.
Each winter, spring, and summer, Waters Edge opens its gates again. Young people arrive carrying the weight of their daily lives, and they leave carrying something different: memories with friends who feel like family, a deeper sense of faith, and the knowledge that there is a place in east Texas where they belong.
