God's Word, Designed for Every Heart
Jesus Cares Camps welcomes people with developmental disabilities and sensory sensitivities to experience Bible lessons, fellowship, and outdoor activities in an environment crafted specifically for their needs.

In Redwood Falls and across Minnesota, people with developmental disabilities and their families often search for spiritual experiences where everyone can fully participate and feel welcomed. Jesus Cares Camps opens that door by creating Bible camp experiences designed from the ground up for people with sensory sensitivities and developmental disabilities—campers who might feel lost in traditional settings, but who deserve to encounter God's Word in a way that speaks to them.
The ministry operates two seasonal camps: one at Camp Omega in Waterville and another at Camp Green Lake in Spicer. Over two full days (with an optional overnight for those who need it), campers gather for Bible lessons crafted to meet their unique learning styles, alongside the simple joys of fellowship, outdoor activities, and crafts. Every element—the pacing, the messaging, the structure—is thoughtfully designed so that each person can actively engage with scripture and feel truly included.
For families who have struggled to find a place where their loved ones can grow spiritually alongside peers who understand their experiences, Jesus Cares Camps offers something profound: the chance to know they belong, to connect with their faith community, and to discover that God's love reaches everyone. It is a ministry that recognizes what many communities overlook—that accessibility to faith matters, and that with intentional care, every camper can thrive.
