Restoring the Gulf Coast, one cleanup at a time
Eco Clean Marine brings neighbors together along the Gulf Coast to remove plastic pollution from our waters and teach the next generation to care for marine life.

Every month, volunteers gather at beaches and waterways around Gulf Shores and beyond—armed with determination and buckets—to pull trash from the ocean and shorelines. What starts as a simple cleanup becomes something much larger: a community united around the belief that our waters deserve protection. Families, young professionals, and partners stand shoulder to shoulder, watching the pile of collected debris grow, knowing that each piece removed is one less threat to the marine life that calls the Gulf home.
But Eco Clean Marine understands that cleanup alone is not enough. True ocean conservation requires us to fall in love with what we're protecting. That's why the organization has partnered to bring interactive experiences to local waterways—giving children and visitors a chance to feed fish and encounter marine life up close. These moments of wonder and connection plant seeds of care that grow into a lifetime commitment to protecting our oceans.
To deepen that learning, Eco Clean Marine has created educational resources that help people understand the incredible creatures living in our waters. By pairing hands-on cleanup with education and ecotourism, the organization is building a movement—one where every person who picks up trash, learns about local marine life, or simply shows up to an event becomes a guardian of the Gulf Coast. It's a vision that starts locally but carries the power to transform how entire communities value and protect their most precious natural resource.
