Track & field

A dozen events. A dozen volunteer coaches. Screen them all.

Track & field camps fan kids out across the infield and oval, each event run by its own volunteer. That spread of adult-athlete contact is why every event coach needs a check. VolunteerBadge clears the whole field for $5 each, identity-verified.

Every event area to screen

Track camp screening questions

Track camps have a coach for every event — do they all need checks?

Yes. Each event area — sprints, jumps, throws, distance — is often run by a different volunteer working closely with athletes. Every one needs a documented $5 background check.

Many of our event coaches are last-minute parent volunteers. Is that a problem?

Only if you cannot screen them in time. Phone-based verification returns most checks same-day, so even a coach added the day before can be cleared before they run an event.

What about throwing-event coaches working one-on-one?

Throws and pole vault especially involve close, individual coaching — exactly the access that makes screening essential. They run as the same $5 check as any other volunteer.
