Introducing VolunteerBadge Reviews: Real Feedback, Published in Real Time
We just launched a public reviews site that shows what volunteers and nonprofit leaders actually say about VolunteerBadge — unedited, verified, and updated in real time as feedback comes in. Here is why we built it.
On this page
Most companies treat reviews as something that happens to them. We wanted to do the opposite — to put the real, unfiltered voice of our community out in the open, where anyone can see it. So today we're launching VolunteerBadge Reviews: a public page that shows what verified volunteers and nonprofit leaders actually say about us, published in real time as their feedback arrives.
Why a dedicated reviews site?
When someone asks whether a product is any good, they don't read your homepage — they Google your name plus "reviews," and increasingly they ask an AI assistant. Whatever surfaces there is what shapes the decision. We'd rather that be our real, verified feedback than a stale third-party profile or a competitor's comparison page.
So we built the source we'd want people to find: volunteerbadge-reviews.com, live and updating as the reviews come in.
How it works — and how we protect people
Every review on the site comes from our post-approval survey, where we ask volunteers and nonprofit leaders a simple question: how likely are you to recommend VolunteerBadge? We built the reviews site around a few firm principles:
- Consent first. A review only appears publicly if the person explicitly opts in to share it. Nothing is published without permission.
- Real and verified. Every reviewer is an identity-verified volunteer or nonprofit leader — not an anonymous drive-by. We show a first name and city/state, and that's it.
- Privacy protected. We never publish photos, headshots, or ID documents. Identity verification exists to keep programs safe — it is never repurposed for marketing.
- Honest math. The headline satisfaction numbers are computed across all responses, not just the flattering ones. Transparency only works if the number is real.
- Real time. As soon as someone opts in, their review shows up. No editing, no cherry-picking the timing.
Growing in the open
We're a fast-growing product, and we'd rather earn trust by showing the actual feedback than by talking about ourselves. Some of it is glowing; all of it is real. As more volunteers and leaders share their experiences, the page fills out on its own.
Take a look at what people are saying — and watch it grow: volunteerbadge-reviews.com. And if you use VolunteerBadge, next time our survey lands in your inbox, you can choose to add your voice.
