- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
Entities that are eligible to apply are: Units of local government (e.g., city, county), Agencies of a unit of local government (e.g., Police Department, Department of Parks and Recreation), Nonprofit, nongovernmental entities, Indian Tribal governments, Tribal organizations, Victim service providers, Independent School Districts, and Faith-based organizations.
