Safe ministry is a count of what your congregation has recorded. It is available when Church tools are on, after you set up ministry roles.
Open Safe ministry under Screen & Protect. Each part shows how many people meet it, out of how many that part applies to. Choose a score to see only the open items for that part. A part with nothing to count stays blank instead of showing zero. Screening counts a current background check and the tenure gate. A driving-record note stays on the full list and does not appear under the Screening score, because it does not change that count. Oversight counts outside-training records a named leader has verified and that have not expired. With none recorded, that part stays blank. A two-adult shortfall stays on Cleared to serve.
Download record makes a PDF with the five counts, the date it was generated, and the date the numbers were taken. When more than one month is stored, the PDF lists each month. With only the current month, it says there is no earlier month. It also lists the published child-protection pack: version, published date, and how many people whose ministries require that version have acknowledged it. If nothing is published, it says so. Screening and training counts are repeated as aggregate totals. The PDF does not name individual volunteers, does not certify the congregation, and does not imply an insurance outcome.
The list under the scores names who still has an open item. A missing check opens the background-check section, a reference or interview opens that part of the profile, training opens the course assign control, and a policy acknowledgment opens that person on Policies. A waiting period opens that person's ministries. A driving-record note says it is not ordered here. Opening that list does not approve or decline anyone.
On the first of each month, VolunteerBadge records these counts for congregations with Church tools on. Opening Safe ministry updates that same month, so the record stays one row and matches the page. It keeps the counts and the open items, without volunteer names.
